Regardless of fuel consumption, you can pay an estimated equal amount for your home heating product each month. With equalized payments you will be able to budget for the winter months.
How our plan works
Columbia Fuels' NO INTEREST Equalized Payment Plan starts in September of each year. Programs can start as late as December, but the earlier you join the lower your estimated monthly payments will be.
Columbia Fuels' NO INTEREST Equalized Payment Plan estimates your fuel use for the next heating season. If you are already a customer, Columbia Fuels will base your estimated amount on your delivery history from the previous season, or a Columbia Fuels Heating Advisor will be happy to base the estimate on the available information. As a new customer your estimate will be based on forecast consumption and current rates. In any circumstance, we then divide your total estimated charges into 10 equal installments.
We will review and adjust your monthly budget amount if necessary. Columbia Fuels will notify you on your bill when the review occurs, usually in February or March of each year as necessary
In June, at the end of Columbia Fuels' NO INTEREST Equalized Payment Plan year, a credit will appear on your account for any over payment. If you use more heating fuel than estimated, your account will reflect the outstanding amount. You will be automatically set up for the following heating season. In July and August, Columbia Fuels will notify you of your estimated budget for the upcoming heating season.
We recommend this to all customers as it helps you to budget your expenses without any surprises when we come around to fill up your oil tank – and it is interest free, so why not take advantage of our generosity – we do this to make your life just a little bit easier.
Contact us and join the Columbia Fuels' NO INTEREST Equalized Payment Plan to enroll for next billing period. Although its called no interest thats just what you pay, because we know you will have lots of interest in this great budget savvy plan.
