Stay Cozy WINNERS Announced!

Columbia Fuels is pleased to announce the winners of the 2013 Stay Cozy Campaign. A Victoria resident and longtime customer of Columbia Fuels was the winner of Free Heating Oil for a Year*, and a Cobble Hill customer was the lucky recipient of 1,000 Air Miles ® Reward Miles.

Columbia Fuels congratulates both winners of this year’s contest, and reminds all customers to keep up to date and check our website for future contests, promotions and home heating tips.

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

Enter to win a $3000 cash prize, Free Oil for a Year (maximum value $2000.00) or 2 prizes of 1000 AIR MILES Reward Miles (4 prize draws) in total (the "Contest").

To Enter: All residential customers of Columbia Fuels Ltd. ("Columbia Fuels") are automatically entered. For no purchase entry, clearly print your name, mailing address, daytime telephone number and age at the time of entry on a plain piece of paper and send it (bearing sufficient postage) to: Cozy Up Contest, 2669 Wilfert Road, Victoria BC V9B 5Z3. Only one entry can be made per individual, per day, per envelope. Entries must be received by the end of the month before each draw. Entries must be mailed in, no drop offs will be accepted.

PERIOD

The Cozy Up Contest # 1 commences at 7:00am Pacific Standard Time on September 1st, 2012 and closes at 10:00pm Pacific Standard Time December 31, 2012 (the "Expiry Time"). Active Columbia Fuels accounts meeting the eligibility requirements automatically become an "Entrant".

The Cozy Up Contest #2 commences at 7:00am Pacific Standard Time on January 1st, 2013 and closes at 10:00pm Pacific Standard Time March 31, 2013 (the "Expiry Time"). Active Columbia Fuels accounts meeting the eligibility requirements automatically become an "Entrant".

ELIGIBILITY

Contest #1:

Cash Prize (First Prize) The selected Entrant must have an active residential account with Columbia Fuels to be declared a winner, the selected Entrant must have an active residential heating oil or service account as of December 31, 2012 or enter as described above.

1000 Air Miles (Second Prize) The selected Entrant must have an active residential account with Columbia Fuels. To be declared a winner, the selected Entrant must have an active residential heating oil or service account as of December 31, 2012 or enter as described above.

Contest # 2:

Free Heating Oil for a Year (First Prize) The selected Entrant must have an active residential account with Columbia Fuels. To be declared a winner, the selected Entrant must have an active Residential heating oil or service account as of March 31, 2013 or enter as described above.

1000 Air Miles (Second Prize) The selected Entrant must have an active residential account with Columbia Fuels. To be declared a winner, the selected Entrant must have an active Residential heating oil or service account as of March 31, 2013 or enter as described above.

(Collectively the "Prizes" and singularly the "Prize")

Prize Acceptance: Before accepting and receiving a Prize, and being declared a winner, the selected Entrant must sign a Declaration of Compliance with Contest Rules and a Liability and Release (the "Documentation"), releasing Columbia Fuels, its shareholders, subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, owners, partners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, as applicable, from any liability, damages, losses or injury in connection with this Contest and/or the Prize.

This Contest is open to legal Canadian residents with a legal address on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, falling within the service area of Columbia Fuels. Entrants must have reached the age of majority in British Columbia at the time of entry. This Contest is not open to: (i) directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents and contractors of Parkland Industries Ltd. ("Parkland") and its related or affiliated companies, or (iii) their immediate families and persons with whom they are domiciled. Parkland reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, including any method of entry.

Parkland or any of its respective affiliates, related entities, employees, directors, representatives, partners, partnerships, principals, licensees, agents, successors or assigns: (i) make no warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind concerning any prize; (ii) disclaim any implied warranty; and (iii) are not liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from the acceptance or use of a Prize or from participation in this Contest.

HOW TO ENTER

Customers of Columbia Fuels meeting the eligibility terms and conditions of the Contest are automatically entered into each Contest draw or enter as described above.

By accepting a Prize, Prize winners consent to the use of his or her name and city, town or district of residence, photograph for promotional purposes by Columbia Fuels without prior notice or additional compensation.

PRIZES

1. 1 Grand Prize of $3000.00 cash to be won. Draw date January 2nd, 2013. The Prize will be awarded in the form of a money order in the name of the winning contestant.
2. 1 Prize of Free Heating Oil for a Year supplied by Columbia Fuels to a maximum annual consumer value of $2000.00 each. Draw will take place on April 4th, 2013. The heating oil will be delivered between January 1st and December 31st of 2013 by Columbia Fuels to the customer’s home address. This prize is transferrable to the new home buyer if the home is sold or to the winner’s new home in Columbia Fuels’ service territory
3. 2 Prizes of 1000 AIR MILES Reward Miles each. Draw date January 2, 2013; April 4th, 2013.
4. By accepting a Prize, winners agree to abide by the decisions of Columbia Fuels which are final on all matters regarding the Contest. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
5. The Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be substituted or redeemed for cash or alternative prizes. If a Prize is unavailable for any reason, Columbia Fuels reserves the right to substitute for the Prize or any component thereof, a prize of equal or greater value. No reimbursement will be provided if a Prize is not taken. Prize cannot be combined with any other promotional offer or offers.
6. In the event Columbia Fuels is unable to notify the selected Entrant within seven (7) calendar days following the Prize selection or if a selected Entrant (i) fails to correctly answer the time-limited skill testing mathematical question; and/or (ii) does not sign and return the documentation by the required return date noted, or if a selected Entrant declines the Prize, Columbia Fuels shall have the right to disqualify that selected Entrant and select an alternate Entrant from all remaining eligible entries received by Columbia Fuels and Columbia Fuels shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any and all liability or responsibility in this regard. If the winner is unable to accept any portion or the entire Prize, that portion or the entire Prize will be foregone without compensation.
7. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of eligible entries.

WINNER SELECTION

The draws will take place from accounts meeting the eligibility requirements or by entering as describe above.

The selected Entrant will be contacted by Columbia Fuels within five (5) calendar days. All decisions of Columbia Fuels, including determining the selected Entrant and whether any individual entry is eligible for consideration for Prizes, are final and are not subject to appeal or challenge. No further correspondence will be issued once the winner has received his or her Prize, other than as set out below. No correspondence will be issued to any Entrant other than the selected Entrant(s) determined in accordance with these rules.

RELEASE

Winners will be required to execute a legal agreement and release ("Release") that confirms each winner’s: (i) eligibility for the Contest and compliance with these Contest rules; (ii) acceptance of the Prize as offered; (iii) release of each of Columbia Fuels and the respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and/or related companies and each of their employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors, administrators, licensees, representatives, advertising, media buying and promotional agencies (collectively "Parkland and Affiliates") from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising out of participation in the Contest, participation in any Contest-related activity or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any Prize, including but not limited to costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any claims of third parties arising therefrom; and (iv) grant to Columbia Fuels the unrestricted right, in Columbia Fuels’ collective or individual discretion, to produce, reproduce, publish, broadcast, communicate by telecommunication, exhibit, distribute, adapt and otherwise use or re-use the winners’ and guests’ name, likeness, photo, voice, biography and comments, for advertising and promotional purposed worldwide and in any media without limitation or additional compensation unless prohibited by law. The executed Release must be returned within seven (7) days of the verification of the winner or the selected Entrant will be disqualified and the Prize forfeited.

INDEMNIFICATION

By accepting a Prize, winner releases and holds Parkland and Affiliates harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the Entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use of misuse of any Prize, participation in the Contest, any breach of the Contest rules or in any Prize-related activity. The Entrant agrees to fully indemnify Parkland and Affiliates from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Contest, without limitations.

CONDUCT

By participating in the Contest, each Entrant agrees to be bound by the Contest rules, which will be posted on the Columbia Fuels website www.columbiafuels.com and available at all participating Columbia Fuels sites. Entrant further agrees to be bound by the decisions of Columbia Fuels which shall be final and binding in all respects. Columbia Fuels reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to disqualify any Entrant found to be: (a) violating the Contest rules; (b) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest.
